This was the first time I had a new lever belt. It wasn't hard to bend in order to not pop open once on. The rest of the belt was easy to put together as well. I'm 5'3 with a 29-inch waist and it was very comfortable to deadlift in. I have not gotten the chance to squat in it yet.
